Is it possible to make a fedex ups and usps package tracking widget/object?

It depends on what kind of web API these carriers support, and how easy it would be to integrate with their service. If they have a good web services API, then it would not be too difficult to write one up in JScript.

This is an interesting idea. I'll look into the difficulty of doing this.

I saw a couple of these on the Konfabulator Website Link you might want to take a quick look at those and see if you can't reverse engineer to see how they were done.
