Patch Download URL invalid

I just tried to dl the 1.05 patch via download.asp. After entering my mail address and serial number I am rewarded with a 404 (file not found) error. This is the invalid URL:

http://www.galciv.com/download/galciv_DB8B43D6-6CB9-40D2-A62A-F24C8095903C.zip

Any way to download the patch (no, I'd rather not use Stardock)? SF just links to download.asp, too....

Yes, I can't download the patch either, and if you try to e-mail them for support, it says their quota has been exceeded. I thought this company was supposed to have good support! Looks like we are just going to be screwed like most of the other software companies out there -- now that we bought their product, we're on our own! >:(

Quota exceeded? What's that?

What about using Stardock Central? I find it easy to use and to get updates.

I'm not sure I want to add SC, as it looks like it adds way too much junk to my computer. I just want to try and update the software (GC) so it doesn't crash so often.

Quota Exceeded means their e-mail account is so full that it will no longer accept new messages. Means no one's home or they don't care about customer service anymore. >:(

I'm not a techie but I don't think SDC would add too much to your comp. There are other programs there for download but you don't have to. Just install it, update your game then uninstall if you like.

Did you send to your email to [email protected] or another address?

Yup this outfit is all hype:the link for patch 1.05 is bad.I've e-mailed them for some time-got it off of WINMX though.Seems these software companies need a little litigation their way{class action suit}.

Stardock is a to much like spyware.These people try to prevent piracy and loose good customers in the process.
I see Strategy First has been added to the do not buy list at well they back it .com
