Just thought I would ask. Seems the Metaverse is just filling up with Begginer Level cheese games. Which is fine for all those folks who are playing the Metaverse. It is nice to see that lots of other folks are still playing Galciv.

Take a close look in the mirror and ask yourself who is actually whining, it might be instructive. Enjoy what you do, but do yourself and the rest of us the favor of not trying to instruct us in how to enjoy ourselves in what we do.

I said it is fine to play the metaverse if that is what you enjoy. But why all the hard feelings about the AI catching on. Isn't that part of the fun. Just find another way to out think it.

I don't employ the "cheese tactics" that are referred to in this thread. Those who do, however are only helping to point out where the game/metaverse can be further refined, and in the process showing us all why these refinements should be made.

From what I've read, some of the cheese lovers would also like to see these refinements made. They don't mind being challenged, they are just being challenged in a different way, like, "Show me how robust your game A.I. is against my clever, outside-the-box stratgies."

edit: Sorry if the word "cheese" is offensive to anyone, I just don't know a better way to describe it.

another edit: Oh, yeah the new scoring ajustments announced should help a lot!
