Some rhymes for new years
Seems to me,
there ain't enough songs about the new year,
the one we pass by to right our wrongs splashing liqour with "cheers,"
if I have too much tonight I wonder just how many will see my rear,
end, but I can't bend on the position I've taken,
that I won't take coke in my brandy, straight up is the potion I'm makin',
and point me towards that keg of Summit,
Straight down Franklin ave. towards Reddirty's place, my girl will make sure I don't plummet,
down flights up stairs,
so we walk in pairs,
this last drink with you I'll share,
prepare, the music and laughs,
and I'll repour the fluids but I'll pass on your stash,
whitey, I sure wish you were here with us on this night,
but I know you got dreams to chase down and you got every single one of them in your sights,
pulling triggers?

sober or full of booze,
