Startup not serious but anoying problem

Hello.
I have a strange little problem that I cannot resolve.
Each time I start Windows (with my desktoX layout) it shows always the "Properties Window" of DesktopX
What is strange is that for another user created on my Pc, which uses a similar Desktopx layout, this does not happen.

Here is the "guilty" window I'm talking about.



Any suggestion?

I have the same problem, lexar. Not a big deal to close the window, but would change it if I knew how.

It's entirely possible that you have two shortcuts set to load DX on startup. MSConfig.exe from the 'run' menu item will show you what you have set to load at startup.

No, just once, but Orbital and pic viewer (two widgets) also.

I think this may require some Registry tweaks, so BACK IT UP!!

+ Click "Start" > "Run" and type REGEDIT click ok or press enter
+ Navigate to HKY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\DesktopX
+ In the list on Right there should be "Palette" (REG_DWORD)
+ Double-click and change the Value to "1"

Close Regedit And Restart DesktopX ... Also If anyone else has info re the settings for DX in the Regsitry (most important, "Running" and "Silent" please get back to me
