Hello.. it me the really "noob" guy trying to do graphic designs.. anyways.. im only 12!





Any recommendations, of any good 3D design programs? (Trying Maya Trial)

The only two real free 3D programs I know are Blender 3D http://www.blender3d.org/ and POV-ray http://www.povray.org/

Both are open source and therefore freely available (without add or spyware) to the public.

Like all 3D programs, the learning curve is pretty steep, but in my opinion Blender is a little easier to understand. I think Maya is actually based on POV-ray but just puts an easy to understand interface on it, while POV-ray needs scripting.

Wings 3D Link is also open source, and a very good program.

The Freeware Versions Are Good. However, If You're Looking For Commercial Quality Without The Nifty Price Tag, Take A Look At Gmax. It's Made By Discreet [The Same People That Make 3Dmax - Character Studio - Mental Ray .etc]

It's Totally Free. Easier To Learn And Very Powerful.
