Happy New Year!!!

Time really flies, and it's the third day of 2005..everything seems back to normal. But I still have a hang-over of the past week's events..from images of tragedy and victory all across Asia. New Year's was a joyous celebration for us. '04 surely was a year of personal, familial and social turmoil, but I still feel blessed that we have survived all these. I celebrated with my family and friends, and we all enjoyed pigging out inspite of a thousand unburned calories sitting on our fat pockets.
Also, over the weekend, household make-over was a success, and I could not believe that our small house could still pull off an eclectic look for the new year. Our being a little bit experimental really paid off - painting the walls with spring green and yellow hues. Old brass jars and paintings match the walls and other home accents. The living room now has a more laid-back feel.
I'll share some images on my succeeding posts, but for now, I'll go back to work.
