How Do I Cancel A Project?

I Build a colonizer ship. Then the computer automatically begins to build another. How do I cancel it? Can anyone help me?

You can switch the production of the military project to another. The production "shields" that went into the colony ship would get transferred into your new ship.

Or you just could set the production to "Nothing".

There is also an option on the main menu to turn autobuild off. but then you have to tell it everthing you want it to build. when you want to build it
