Star Clusters

Means tight or loose groups(globular cluster) of stars per sector.
You can only have 0,1 or more planets per star system not 'stars under one star'.

Depends. lots of good planets in a sector (tight cluster)means high influence if you have several planets + 1 starbase will provide benifits to all thjose planets aswell.
Losse clusters give lend to easier initual expansion due to stars with planets being more evenly spaced out.

Generely playing with tight clusters gives an easier game I think.

Really? I've had a much easier time with scattered because then I don't have to research a bunch of stuff or wait years on a constructor to provide extra range when there's a habitable planet in almost every sector. But then again, that could be because I play on abundant.

Shane tight clusters mean that the stars are grouped together more closely with more open sectors.

Scattered, the other end of the spectrum, has less open sectors but the stars are not grouped as tightly.


There are advantages and disadvantages to each.

Tight at some point means you'll need either a range tech or a starbase to get to the next sector sometimes.

Loose means you don't need the range techs but you are more vulnerable to cultural attacks from the other civs.

I love creating mods, but with the metaverse, I'm afraid of getting an anomalous score.

I think that the major problem are the mods where the PQ gets way to altered, so far I have used many of the mods from the library at Galciv and no anomolous score so far. S just pay attention to those mods with very high PQ.

I can verify that the mod to turn down the drengin music (so it is the same volume as the others) works fine and has not yielded an anomalous in over 40 games. Good luck.
