Which is best?

Submitting ten games at 5K's
Five games at 10K's
Two games at 25k's

Not that I can do this.
Just curious.

Also, does the point in the month have any effect on your score?

All other things being equal, submitting fewer games with higher scores is always better. For your scenario, the scores will be as follows:

10 gamer - 15.8k
5 gamer - 22.4k
2 gamer - 35.4k

The date of your submission determines which monthly block the game would fall into. Scores for games in monthly blocks older than your current month block are aged.

Basic formula is - Total score for games divided by square root (no of games).

This basic formula is used in 30 day monthly blocks so if you have games over 2 months, the formula is applied separately to the games in each block. The older blocks get aged with 5% per month (ie 2 month old blocks get aged by 10%).
