New ranks?

I was checking the metaverse today and saw some players with new ranks such as admiral, etc, what are the requirements for these new ranks?

No one seems to know for sure, Mayito. It doesn't appear to be anything as simple as your metaverse score.

Not for certain. First guesses - based on limited data

Looks like 50k and 100k are cutoff scores for rear and vice admirals. All the VAs have at least 100k.

Possibly 30 and 45 games - but I'm wondering if there's an adjustment for difficulty in there as well bearing in mind frogboy's comments about GCCG and the like.

I also suspect that an update needs to be forced - I didn't get promoted until I submitted a game, and the vast majority (although not all!) of the current "admiralty" have submitted games in the past couple of days!

Current lowest scored admiral is "wirtzs" on page 3 and there are a couple on page 2. I suspect there'll be a few more as games get submitted over the next few days!
