Active Desktop

hi there.

im looking for a tool or something else which display a "active desktop".
sorry for my bad english but i will describe it.

There was a Theme like a livingroom ... (looks like normal Wallpaper) but when u klick at the tv windows media player(or what u have choosen) will start. And wenn u klick at the turntable winamp will start...klick at the door an windows ask u to shut down.... and so on.

has anybody an idea what tool i might mean.... i got it a half year ago an lost it... and now i even donßt know the name of the tool.

That takes me back to the days of Bob. It's funny how many times I've told myself it would be an awesome idea.. then upon a little bit of research I learned that Microsoft actually tried it once - and failed miserably.
