Tales from the Posse

Avast ye! We who sail the seas bring tales of adventure and derring-do! We've been asked to recount our tales on the high seas in many taverns...and now we've deposited our treasures in that landlubber idle's War of the Worlds treasure chest http://idle.thehueys.com/wotw/

The Pirates of the Southern Seas have deposited forty five of our stories; ye can look under Other fiction/GROSS/Tales from the Posse to find the gold, ye scurvy dogs!

Here be an excerpt:

The moonlight silhouetted her slim figure as the waves crashed onto the shore. Her robe seemed to melt into nothingness as he moved closer to embrace her, to bring her into sensual union with his throbbing manhood...

CURSES! That be me Pirate Playboy Annual...never mind, ye mutinous dogs...now ye can not only Talk Like A Pirate, ye can Read Like A Pirate too! Partake of our finest treasure at the War of the Worlds!

Just to say a number of people have commented on the stories in out thread, and as self appointed story wrangler, I've managed to log them on idle's fantastic site. My thanks to idle for all his help and special thanks to my mates: Dread Captain Pontius and the finest crew in the Metaverse: Killa, Jaws, Quack, Hurley and Cypher!

I knew you couldn't keep me out of your mind.

Dear Wombie, why don't you come home....your true home as a Wombat.
You would be very welcome...if you know what I mean. ;)

Damn it girl...you're drivin me CRAZY... LOL LOL LOL
(That WAS brilliant, Rainbird)

Quack: yeah, I know. The stories dont actually line up in the order I submitted them, either. Not sure about that one. Also, the 'author' appears as the person who submitted them (me) - idle warned me about this and suggested I put the original author's name in the summary section, so you can see it clearly there. I did discuss further subcatagories with idle, but the stories themselves are basically all 'stand alone' - even the WoW ones dont really follow a common narrative, so in the end I decided to just place them all in our section as is. Mmm...not sure what else to do, really.

Wombie - ah, no worries. We'll see if idle can get the order sorted out, but if he can't, it's no big deal. It's just that my stories sound like insane ravings when they're out of order.

Well, they sound nuts when they're in order too, but... the better sort of nuts. :p

If someone will write out for me the order they should be in, I can re-organize them in that order as one story with multiple chapters.

Shoot... well, I opened my mouth to complain about it, I'd better get that list done. It might as well be the order they show up in the forum - the "prequels" are more fun to read that way, even if they're not in perfect step with the others.
