I have not seen a thread along this nature, so I want to thank from the bottom of my expansionist heart all involved with GC. I must admit a certain amount of concern has verions 1.04 - 5 were very unstable for me (and others apparently after reading the board). BUT, the expansion pack is a solid grand slam I-hope-you-sell-a-million of them improvement. Not only is the game stable but the additions make the game very enjoyable.
I even enjoy the cheats! While some may look down at that comment, my last game at crippling was lost and I was getting beaten back. They had me ... I knew and they knew it. It was getting personal with me, so I cheated. Upped my PQ, gave my self enough bank to buy some colony ships, colonized all the worthless systems around with in my influence, threw 100% to research, got some competitive ships and drew a line. I ended up winning but only after the most fun I have in a long time with a computer game.

$20 expansion pack? Sign me up! Heck after the game all night last night, THIS expansion pack is worth the $20!!
Pass out the gold stars and take a day off ... and Thanks, I can extend my "no life" status another few years now.
