Cast Away...

(Here's a new poem by popular demand...it starts out sad, then mean, and then goes hopeful. Enjoy!)

Cast away...
All alone.
Cast away...
Like a stone.

How did it begin?
This predicament of mine.
Bad deeds, unwashed sin?
I thought all was fine.

Was my humor bad?
Did I shock you so?
Are you glad...
To see me go?

Perhaps it was my doing,
Or just bad luck.
But what am I proving?
Do you give a fuck?

I am different, so what?
I don't pretend like the others.
I'm not a druggie, a drunk, or slut.
I treat my friends like sisters and brothers.

So I am cast away,
With all my friends.
Because what you say,
Knows no ends.

But we are fine,
We are confident and strong,
No need to pine,
So keep on hitting your bong.

Cast away, like a stone,
My friends are here,
So I'm not really alone.
With them, I have nothing to fear.

So, there you have it,
Being cast away isn't so bad.
In fact you worthless shit,
I'm happy and glad.

Hope that made sense...it's kind of a summary about how a lot of people can feel and then find out that they are actually better than others say...well, hell...you guys can figure it out.
