My only problem with the Exp pack

After I upgraded the Exp pack with the latest patch, the only problem I keep having is submitting the games, before the Expack came along (version 1.05) I didn't have any problem submitting games, I had to click twice in submitting and that was it, I used to get a message saying that the submission was succesful, since the expack I had the problem of everytime I tried to submit a game, I have to hit the submnitting key like 25 times before the game its submitted, why? It didn't happen before in the old 1.05, why now?

Another question I have is why in the download section the link for the 1.05 download is dead?

Also the same here.
Have to hit the submit key a bazillion times to get it to send data to metaverse.Also have to hit submission succesful button a trillion times to get it to go away so I can go on to next game. :sniff!:

I think BlueSteel is right. I noticed that submissions seemed slower when I first got the beta. I've gotten used to it so I didn't make the connection when I first saw this post.

Yep. Definitely leave it for about a minute or two (at least!). It then eventually comes back with a status message. That is with a broadband connection so with dialup it may be even longer.(?)

I just click once. Takes several minutes for a game to be submitted, as always. I'm on cable modem, so don't know if being on dial up would take longer...

I'm using cable. I don't have this problem however. One click to submit. End game in main menu. Load up Metaverse and my score will be there.

Well Ray, I'd venture a guess that Singapore probably has one of the the best digital infrastuctures in the world. Of course it's fast! :)

We all see the same message, Mayito.

As others have mentioned, there is no need to hit submit repeatedly. Just hit once and wait for it to go.

Send status 1= all ok
Error status 0 = no error message returned.

There is a new debugging code introduced for Metaverse submission so that could be the reason for the slowdown.

Realised that it does take longer for me (10-15secs now) than previous versions.

My one takes less than a minute to submit, and I'm on a dial-up. Then again, it takes a few minutes to shut down, but that's another story.

Just a guess: From a programming perspective, exit code 0 usually means 'OK'.
