Fewer Anomalies in 1.10?

Are there fewer anomalies in 1.10? There seem to be fewer, both at the start of the game, and as they respawn later.

I'd really like to see this as a game parameter somewhere.

Why nosir, in fact, (although this could be because of mods) there seem to be more than before. And unfortunately some of them happen to be fricken space worms of death that will slaughter your defenseless USS Hero unless you picked up a bunch of upgrades beforehand.

On smaller maps, I try to lure the sharks into enemy territory, then hit a wormhole in the hopes it'll send me far away. I've used this to my advantage, and watching the military of other races plummet.
