Metaverse submission difficulty with version 1.1

I have the same problem, and I think that everyone else does too, what I do, and I am following the advice given to me by ??? sorry I forgot your name, was to click it once and wait at least 20-40 seconds and it will slowly send it to the Metaverse, what I do before sending is to open the Metaverse and then finish the last screen and hit send, I wait 15-20 seconds and go and check in Metaverse to see if my score change, 99% of the time it has changed, I don't know what is the problem, in version 1.05 (and I have dial-up) I never had this problem. So maybe is a bug of some kind, must be Torian. LOL LOL

One theory is that the latest version is analyzing the game and submitting more detailed information than it did in 1.05.

It's also possible that as more games are submitted to the metaverse, it is just taking longer to do all the re-calcs for user stats, medals, empire rankings, etc. Keep in mind it is doing a lot of caclulations all on the fly whenever submissions are made. Perhaps it waits until all this is done before it gives the thumbs up message.

I see that your game for 9/30 went thru, congrats!!!

If you've got no problem beating crippling, pleph, why not move on up to maso with the rest of us

I'm on dialup too and while it does take about 30 seconds to submit I haven't had any problems or had to do anything unusual. I just click once and either wait or go grab a coke or something while I'm waiting

Yep, same problem here on dial-up.

The odd thing of it though is that if you look at your modem (if you've got an external that is) you'll see that there's only activity for a second or two right after you hit the button. Then it's just a matter of waiting a minute or two for the server to report back whether it succeeded. Must have an awful lot of crunching to do on this end...

I have not been able to submit games, and I use a cable modem.

Ahh I have so missed your ribbing kryofx! Congrats to you and all the rest who have been able to overcome the game on maso

While I was rather proficient at beating the game on crippling back in v. 1.05, this new version is challenging me quite wonderfully. Shall I ever get back in the groove where crippling is an easy win I'll definitely try to knock it up a notch and join you on maso. Besides from what I understand at crippling its you vs. the AI, no holds barred while up there in the clouds at maso the AI has all sorts of advantages and bonuses (ie cheats)... I prefer playing on a level playing ground and am more than satisfied showing up the AI there

Painful's the level with the level playing field. Crippling AIs get bonuses as well but not as much as what Maso AIs enjoy.
