Ability Points

The last time when I was playing, I modified my abilites. Now I can't seem to get the default settings back. Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug in the programing? :sniff!:

There should be a button labelled 'reset' or something of the like. As a last resort, deleting the data/perfs.ini file should return everything (including your empire and user names) to the defaults.

FYI, the reset button only resets the choices to whatever they were previous to any tweaks you've made while the window has been open.

I used the reset button but it erased all abilities instead of returning them to the default settings. I then tryied deleting the "pref" file but, again, the abilities didn't go back to normal. :notsure:

I think the racial picks abilities only default to the last game. After you hit reset and get back your 10 points, I think you have to re-allocate them. Once they are re-allocated, they stay there until you hit reset again. I hope I am answering the right question and that this helps. :)
