how do you load up transport ships?

ive taken out the shields around a planet, and i want to invade it before the altarian republic will. the problem is, i attack, but it says i have no troops when i come to the battle screen, the one where you press the space bar for a random luck rating.

could someone tell me how to load u the transport ship, thanks.

When you launch the transport ship in the first place from a planet, you should see in the lower right corner a little graph and a slider. Moving the slider to the right will increase the amount of soldiers in your transport by the millions. Then just press launch. Personally, I don't think transports should be able to be launched with no troops in them.

I didn't think they could be launched without anyone on board. I have always had to put at least 1m on them to get them out of orbit. (Have not tried yet in 1.1 tho)

Don't forget, Combat Transports can be moved to another star system empty. And sometimes they get battle enhancements from the U.P. that can come in handy especially when empty.

The only way you can get zero troop transports if you can get from a flipped system, else the min is 1mil.
