DRAW Tutorial to extend Mormegil's lessons

Comparing COREL, PHOTOSHOP, PSP, and others.

I have been following Paul Boyers excellent tutorials here at Wincustomize. I have attempted to try to understand everything he's teaching us, however, I think some of it just goes right over my head. I've watched the videos, and reread the tutorials and have attempted to "draw" the objects he has shown us. Even though I can make a square or a circle and make an icon out of those 2 particular shapes, when it comes time to actually building an object with different lines and paths, I'm lost. So I decided to google my way to a tutorial that would decifer some of this "node" madness, that has had me pulling my hair out (and believe me, that's not a pretty sight!). What I thought I needed to find was a tutorial that broke down the art of drawing vector objects and manipulating nodes into little bite sized and oversimplified explanations. I think I've found just the site and have decided to share with anyone who thinks it might help them too. Link

Thank you, Paul. I'm glad you think these will help, as well.

There is also a link on that page to a chart that compares the terminology between Corel, Illustrator, Macromedia, and Deneba Canvas. That should help those who are cross referencing some of these other programs.
