Anyone have a WM Skin creation guide for WMP?

I tried the one on Microsoft.com but (it's like trying to read chinese and all you know is english. if you got a easy to understand guide, can you email it to me at, [email protected] and as subject put Skin Creation Guide!!

Theres not really an easy way to go about it. Have you gotten the download version of the SDK? Its way better than the online one. I use it alot!

For the most part, a super way to learn is to take apart other skins and figure out the code from those. A wmp skin is a .wmz, which is just a renamed .zip file. Rename it to zip, and extract it. All the files and images are in there. The .wms can be opened as text, as well as (possibly) a .js file. The .wms file isnt hard to understand, once you get a feel for the code. i tried to get a hold of resess and i got no reply! he sent me everything at one time, but i lost it, i put it on a slave hard drive and it went dead! i might try that! and see what i come up with!
