a little dissapointed with the planet destruction.

I got GC a week or two ago, loving it so far. I've played about six or seven games now, won 3 or 4 of them.
Anyway, I'm not really a terror star kind of guy, and I use a lot of diplomacy, influence, and underhanded measures in my strategy, but I decided to play one where ALL major races were either Pure good, or Chaotic Good.
By the end game, all five races WERE STILL ALIVE, and most everyone had an alliance with everyone else. The game had been largly a political and diplomatic type game, with a few wars against minors, so I decided to end it all with a diplomatic victory.
I was going to bring ALL FIVE races together in one great, galactic organization.
I made short work of bringing everyone into my alliance EXCEPT the YOR (the robotic one, I changed all their names early on so if using wrong name, sorry)
The Yor were friendly with me, but I just couldn't bring them to close and get them to ally.
Thing is, they were allied with everyone else just like me.
Everyone was allied with everyone, but I noticed that no race had more than 4 alliances. could it be that you can't have alliance with all five races and one must be eliminated?
Doesn't matter cause I'm getting way off topic.
Anyway, I decided I had enough of these insolent Yor robots who refused to join my organization, so I declared war, hoping to make this final stroke my victory.
Well, the Arceans decided to stick with the Yor, but everyone else joined up with me, and what was once a peaceful galaxy was now a galaxy at war. 2 races on one side battling three on the other.
I was powerful, but the Yor were no joke, and I knew taking their planets would be a LONG war of attrition, so I decided to build the TERROR STAR.
I battled my way to an enemy system and moved the SLOW terror star in. After a hellish space battle, my terro star was in position.
I ATTACKED THE STAR ITSELF and...
The terror star just moved over the star and the star was gone. No explosion, no nothing. Why doesn't the star explode or implode or something.
In fact, that crappy explosion graphic it uses when a ship gets destroyed would be fine, it doesn't have to be anything fancy.
It just seems odd that the star you destroyed just kind of gets covered by your terror star like some kind of chess piece.
Really not that big of deal, but maybe next patch you can pop in a little explosion or something.
Thanks,
Mailer
