The Metaverse is doomed, no hope for its revival, it is too late for heart transplant, the kidneys are not working either. Crash!!! the last piece of hardware just fell into my feet.

Would be nice to hear something from the big head/big cheese/big something about when the scores are goiung to be fixed. Someone mentioned something about YESTERDAY, but we are already on TODAy an nothing yet. So I stick to my requiem for my dying friend. RIP dear Metaverse, flowers and tears are spilled all over this galaxy for your sudden departure. (:(

Correct, the board isn't updating scores. Player scores (the ones you see when you click on people's names in the forum) are still being updated though.

Ahh Oh well. I'm sure it will get fixed. But it's not like I care too much. I got more enjoyment out of teaching others to compete when they couldn't before than actually doing maso over and over and over again.

Pontius this is just a request from me, I have tried to play masso without any luck I always get slammed in the first 50 turns, any special maso 1 on 1 or better like a walkthrough, I am an old folk (40 yrs) and not very skillful about playing higher than challenging, any way to receive some guidelines about how to play the maso, my e-mail is [email protected]

If you could e-mail me sort of a guide about what techs to do first, and other guidelines that could help me beat masso would be appreciated.

Cool I love potatoe salad, but my best is maccaroni salad, do you want my cuban/italian recipe for macarroni salad is a big hit.

I will post it anyway

I usually make for 15 people, I use 2 packages of 1 lb each, I boil the maccaroni until they are "al dente", in a big bowl I mix mayonnaise, almost 1/2 jar of the big one, you can add a little bit of mayonaise and then add more as much as you like, OK going back to the bowl, I mix the mayonaise with 2 cans of pineapple's tidbits or chunkc, I separate the pineapple juice from the pineapple tidbits and put it in the refrigerator for later enjoyment. I am a sucker for pineapple juice. OK I mix the pineapple tidbits with the mayonaise in a bowl and then I add chunks of ham, around 1 lb I mix all that very well and add some pepper and salt, mix these ingredients with the macarroni, I put the macarronis in a colander to get all, ALL the water out, I mix them together and keep it in the refrigerator to the next day, I add more mayonaise the next day before serving if need it. I love to decorate the macarroni salad with red pepper, I usually make little trees or crosses or palm trees. You could add to the salad also hot sauce if you like it spicy, specially tabasco salsa, but I usually make this salad for the church.

My Salad I'm makin is hot German Potato for an Oktoberfest party. Guess we aren't doing A lock in for Halloween this year. Pfft. Don't ask me why we're having it so early. But we are. I'm just boilin up the potatoes to get a head start tonight.

Bacon, 5 pounds red potatoes. Onions, Celery.
Cider vinegar, Sugar, Salt Pepper, flour, cooked down into a fine sauce. poured over the potatoes and baked...

Does anyone remember the great Meta crash of roughly May 5-7? The scores went into a buffer and were not processed until later. We've been there before and survived.

Hmm. This has interesting ramifications for any future Galcivs. Brad was talking in chat once about making more things server side, especially for any potential multi-player applications. What is going to happen if there is a several day server blackout system-wide in that kind of set up in the future, I wonder? Just a thought.

The crowd stood quiet, all the eyes were possed in Cotal's fragile figure(size 14 by her own admission) that slowly moved closer and closer to the casquett where rested the old Metaverse, suddenly in an act of despair she reached out for Metaverse cold metal lips and embraced them with a loud but soft kiss, and electrical surge flowed from Cotal lips into the cold circuits of the Metaverse, and Hallelujah the Metaverse has awaken!!!! Its circuit boards start to blink, the motherboards start to tweak, the fatherboard smoked a cuban cigar and all the metaversians members shout and hollared in salutation for the great deed that Cotal has done, in reward for Cotal's faithfullnes the Metaverse has rewarded her with the first place. Congratulations Cotal. LOL
