Including some fan products in future expansions?

I was enjoying the latest evil/good mod the evil empire put out (it's evil I tell you!), and I was surprised to see how high-quality it was. In fact, quite a few of the fan-posted techs, structures, wonders, ships and events are quite good. I was wondering whatever it is possible that Stardock could hand-pick some of the best stuff and include it, officially, in one of the future patches. It should be reasonably easy to do, and it's a great way to honor those that did some outstanding job.

Why do you guys think? And maybe even more importantly, what does the Stardock gang thinks?
