Double-clicking on the planets list brings up a mini-build queue!

How long has that been there?! It's pretty cool and is a massive time/click saver.
For those that haven't stumbled across it - if you have the planets list up and for example on the Sol Social Project indicator it brings up a Build Queue - including what is in the gov. queue plus a list of other projects are available.

Is there somewhere that has all these little UI tricks listed?
thanks.

Um, not sure if there's anything like that available. You could check out the fansites links in the encyclopedia.  Some of them have updated manuals.

You could get a rough idea of stuff from looking at the version history in Stardock Central.

You can do the same thing with the ship list. Double click on a listing and it centers your view on the ship.

if you click on military project listing above the social projects and you can bring up a military build listing.

clicking on a race's picture in the initial raceintelligence and morality settings removes that race.

the little arrow next to a ship in the ship listing will move that ship to where you are currently looking at.

One thing I really like in the ship list is the "Fly here" Button, where you easiely can change destinations of all ships on the move to somewhere they are not needed.

Um.. ok, where is the 'fly here' button darnit! >:(

Are you talking about the mysterious blue arrow to the right?

And what about those little icons next to a star system?

On the ship list, those blue arrows on the right side of all the ship list entries make that ship go to the current sector.

The icons around the star on the starmap mean varioius things. Some of them indicate a capital. Others warn about imminent cultural defection, low morale, etc.
