Alone...
Everyone fears being left alone,
No one to love, no one hate.
An empty void,
A painful heart.

Detachment, loneliness,
No fitting in,
Always left out.
Driving you insane,
As your heart aches for one to love,
To be close to, to talk to,
To feel their warmth, to touch them.

Lonely,
Sorrow fills your being,
Always watching from afar,
Never holding, stroking, embracing,
Anyone.
No one around to comfort you,
Ease your pain, your sadness.

Despair grips your soul,
Thoughts of ending your life cross your mind.
Who would stop you?
You're alone.
Yet you don't.
One spark, an ember,
Fizzling, burning, waiting.
To be ignited, to burn with a roar.
You spare your own life,
Waiting for someone, someone to care,
Someone to be there, someone to love.

we don't always have to be alone.
we just have to stop looking so hard for something to opress loneliness. and when it seems you are alone, look to friends. they help the pain be sorted through. although, we can't let our friends be our refuge all the time... let love come to you, and let it flow. Life is great, don't pressure it every moment to have someone to be with.
