love the update - keep them coming.
especialy like the minors expanding :)
thanks guys (and gals), this makes it more enjoyable for people like me who play at the lower levels (or get our backsides whipped) and play gigantic maps.
great update SD

Not sure I like the minor expending that much. :notsure:

I started 3 games and in all of them I had a minor in my cluster, by 2181 they had colonize from 5 to 8 planets. Is there a limit to how much they will colonize or a maximun range from their home planet?

I'm not experiencing too much fun having to share half of my initial cluster to a minor civ spaning colony ship like rabit with only 15 mill pop in them...

Is the forum on the new servers? It seems that accessing this site has become painfully slow.
Might be because of all the ppl downloading the update, or indicative of another problem. But over the last two days is has been horrible getting in here.

Yes, I am using dial-up connection, but I have been for some time. and comparativly, it's worse. Just FYI/friendly feed-back.

Hammer,

I ran into the same thing then checked my stardock settings (registration) and it showed the serial number blank. I put that in and that did the trick.
Hope that helps some.
BTW I'm on DSL and yeah it's a major pain to get in here these days. Lots of waiting.
I'm still tinkering away with the update but I do like it.
Thanks Stardock..

Glad to see Stardock is catering for the 'normal' players.

I used to cheat at the start to find out where the yellow stars were.
Now I find it more fun to 'discover' them during play.
As Frogboy intended.

Same with the Research tree.
I loaded some mods and found it fun to discover the new ones.
Now I research that way..not set plan, just discovery.

I like the update.
It has made my current empire more fragmented,

Thanks Kelly that did the trick for me. I'll be updating right after my current game is over. :D

Brad:

Thanks for all the support and updates (including this one). I am certainly going to spend money on the future expansion pack. It's my way of saying "thanks for all your hard work!"

Frogboy,

So is the Multi Media update supposed to be 300+ Mb or not? If so downloading that on a 56k connection is a big problem. Will there be another way to obtain these files? Thanks,

Gary
