I think I got a bug; I can't target a space shark.

I've got a problem. Near one of my planets, a space shark got out of his egg and was destroying the altaerian civilization so they asked me for help. The good friend that I am, I send a couple of corvettes to the shark but the problem is I can't seem to engage the shark. When I fly to the square of the shark, my corvettes fly above the shark but don't attack it. The shark however can attack me.

Has anyone gotten this problem too and knows how to fix it?

Hmmm, I've seen this on the odd occasion, usually when I get the invisible ship bug.

All I can suggest is the save the game off, quit out of the game, then restart it and reload.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, and I'm not even sure that will work... but hopefully it'll solve the problem. :)

When I can make such a save game, I'll send it but the first tip worked. After restarting and reloading the game I could attack the shark.

...which makes sending the save game useless? any of the game's bugs like this dissappear once reloaded. The invisible ship/starbase is definately another like that.

Yeah, you don't need to send it to me if reloading the game fixes the problem.  But if you figure out how to reproduce the problem, then you can let me know how you did it.

If it's such a big problem...i.e. it would crash when I try to load it...then it would be a problem for Cari.

It's nice to know that Cari cares about us lowly Citizens ;)
