aaargh...me achin' head, lads...and lassies...

Speaking of beer, just got back from a little shindig at my boss's place, where we watched Nashville's dear little Titans go down in flames to the New England Patsies. So Tennessee's a warm-weather state, and the kickoff temperature was zero Fahrenheit. Big deal - they're professionals...

Anyway, Rounds 3-5 were dedicated to the Special Forces. Round 3 - Boddington's Pub Ale; Round 4 - Hacker-Pschorr Hefeweisen; Round 5 - Guinness. 'Twas enjoyed by all - lo, there was much rejoicing.

After that, somebody opened the Jameson's, and I seem to have lost count. I THINK I'm typing this clearly (hic).

Semi-conscious at the moment, so ah'm gonna have to take a pass at meeting y'all for DS this time around. Enjoy, and I'll see y'all when (if) I wake up tomorrow.

P.S. Is the Fellowship still making warlike noises? I'm feeling warlike. Point me at somebody and tell me when to swing the katana. Just be sure to duck - I'm a little out of it.

I just submitted 3 games today - added 53K to my score but it didn't change the empire score. Would have pushed us ahead. bummer.

Check again, Jeff. Stumbled across your post on the way out of the Forums, and clicked "Refresh Empire Data" on our Empire page. That little mouse click apparently tweaked things a bit.

Special Forces takes first, as of 1:31 AM, EST, 1/11/04. Slightly behind Wombie's Christmas wish list, but fulfilling all the same.

All,

After seeing that Jaws went ahead and used our "classified" team photo for a profile pic, I decided that if we're going to let our secret identities be known, we may as well do it in style.

Re-sizing the graphic to 300 pixels across gives a cleaner image. In addition, I've added the original background that I intended when this was going to be the background for our website graphics. Check my profile for the updated version.

If any other Special Ones would like the new look, I think you can just right-click on mine and choose "Save As" from the pull-down menu. If that doesn't work, drop me a line at [email protected] and I'll email it to you.
