Anomalous Maso on 1.11

I just finished up a medium Maso on 1.11, and noticed that the endgame screen registed "0" for Metaverse points. I didn't submit it, but still have an endgame save if anyone is interested.

Rather depressing that my first Anomalous win came on Maso! Is this an epidemic? I haven't seen any recent threads on the topic. :notsure:

I got 3/4 of the way through a gigantic maso and it was the same as yours.. 0 mvp for all Ai players too..

I checked it when i read your msg.. guess i'll have to start again.. grrr...

You may want to send a zip file of your last saved gamed folder and file (for example, endgamesave) to stardock or to Cari. When I got an anomalous on a large, crippling; I sent it to Cari and was informed I had tripped a "too much money" flag, probably by trading tech to the AI for cash. Theoden, in our empire, also had something very similar happen.

I was hoping that this would be unlikely on maso since the trade tech for money thing is nerfed. This is the first I have heard of anomalous games on maso and would encourage you to inform stardock or Cari.

If there are many anomalous games by persons who don't use mods or cheat codes - especially on maso - this could seriously damage the metaverse, as in - why bother to participate? Good luck. :)

You can check if you've tripped the "cheater" flag before investing too much time in the game. You "retire" but then don't submit the score. If your score is nonzero, you haven't been labelled a cheater yet.

Really, the game should explicitly warn you when you trip the "cheater" flag, but I guess that would make things too easy for real cheaters.

I had exatly same problem on my huge maso game. Didn't do anything special during the game (at least I can't remember) and bang - 0 points. Very annoying to notice such after spending some >10 hours at that game.

Vincible, I submitted another Medium last weekend as well. I have two saves for the game - one and endgame, and one about halfway through. I'll load up the half-game and see if it's still viable.

FYI, no mods at all.

I don't have Cari's email address, so I assume just send it to [email protected]?
