Iconpack and what direction do i go?

This is bothering me a litle bit
I have been working on my iconpack and it seems
to go in two separate directions



The above is mainly done in swift3d and the one underneath in Fireworks



i have got 3 choices i think.
shall i go on and create icons as the first image or,
the second choice, go on and create in Firworks.
The third is to keep on going as i'm doing now
i think i would lik that better but will i end up
with a proper iconpack? it's a lot of work and i wouldn't
like it if i have to make half of the icons again.

So an opinion would be welcome, especialy from veterans in iconpacks.

I definately prefer the look of the first....though I am old fashioned and keep my icons at 16x16.  Do they look ok scaled down?

They do on 32X32 and they are recognisable at 16X16 but i think i,m going to
adjust the small ones a bit so they will look ok too. but i first have to
find out how to do that in icondeveloper!
