Can't trade

Im one game, I can't establish trade routes with people, I have 2, the Evil Routes Limit UP event hasn't happened yet, and I'm neutral, and nobody hates me, what's goin' on?

I'm assuming you have establish two already and are trying to get a third one going.

If you haven't reseached the tech's to increase the number of trade route then you will not be able to do it.

You will normally only start with two routes unless you pick an extra in the set up.

I used to have issues starting trade routes on 1.05. maybe 1 freighter in 20 simply wouldn't work, even though another would on the same planet in the same turn. I never found a solution, and haven't had the problem in 1.11

Lavalampmaster, if you send your save game to me (with both the .sav file and the folder with the same name) I'll take a look at it and see if I can figure out what's wrong.

Yes, do send it to Cari. I and others have seen this problem in 1.11 too. I sent a save game a day or so ago with the same issue.

I have not seen it, but is it possible, the freighter is from a planet you no longer own?

i had the same problem yesterday; the freighter would stop next to the target planet and do nothing ... and it is 1.11. ... and i still owned the planet .. but i think it is not so severe as long as the other freighters work (and they did in my game)

I had this problem reasonably often before I did a fresh install (had to send the frieghter to another planet), hasn't come back yet (touch wood) . . .
