New Modules Newbie Question

I like the part of new Technology Browser which tells me in detail further technologies I can now research but I'm a bit disappointed I can't click on the other "parts" of what I've discovered to see exactly what they do/mean, am I missing something here?

I keep being told I've researched "New Modules", where do I go to find out what they do and how to build them..

Any help appreciated.

Modules are built on star-bases. Send a constructor to an existing star-base to open up a menu with all the modules you know how to build. As the game progress you will be able to build additional, more powerful modules on your star-bases, often enough with prerequisite to existing, more simple modules.
