Well I just got this game not to long ago and now I am addicted! I have been reading some of the post's and appears to be a very nice group of people with tons of really great information to use. I have been pretty much sticking to the cakewalk/beginner levels until I get the hang of this.

I will been reading up on tactic's as I have the time.

Welcome to the community! This is certainly one of the best games ever made, and you've also stumbled upon the best software studio ever. Stardock has the best support and staff ever assembled. The CEO of Stardock even posts here regularly (Frogboy is Brad Wardell).

Welcome to the group dragonlov...god to hear that it got under your skin too, but watch out - i started playing and got addicted to the game, and then to the community...

and know my i have to make up stories to my girlfriend about all the work i have and to my boss about all the time i have to spend with my girlfriend...just to get the doze of GalCiv that i need, i need it, more please :sniff!:

Im new to this as well, does this game play ok over, dare I say it, Narrowband ?

It doesn't run multiplayer - all you need the link for is to upload finished games to the metaverse.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Although my heart doesn't scream of the dying, I do enjoy being the universal diplomat and if that fails.......I am forced to kick some butt. So I guess I take the less violent approach to winning the battle. I have to admit I get more pleasure watching systems defect to my side than I do sqashing them like bugs.
