Instructions??!?!?

Okay, playing on easy, i got wiped out before i'd gone anywhere by the awsome Drengin. How do you play? I prioritized research, changed the budget, but they walked in with battleships and it was all over??

Still haven't figured out how you attack another star system :sniff!:

Don't forget you set the intelligence of the players too.

Even on easy level, if you set the computer players to be smart, they'll be tough.

You attack star systems by building transports and sending them over. Transports can only attack undefended star systems (stars without a shield in front of them).

thanks. is there a technology map somewhere? How can everyone else have battleships when i still don't have a warp drive?

it shouldn't be possible to build battleships or any advanced technology until you have researched or traded for all the other technology before it...surely?

Correct. But right now the AI cheats on that tech until the tech tree AI is built in.
