What is the best way to play??

Hi all. I haven't posted in here for a long time but anyway I was wonder if I could get peoples opinion on the good settings to play the game. The settings I'm talking about are like you civ's abilities, map size, ai settings, the whole nine yards. I've been playing the same way for awhile and I wanted to try something new, fun and challenging. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

does this not belong in the strategies section?
try d/l'ing council mods from galciv.com there are at least three i know of poss four. personaly i like +PQ, +Research & +Economics along with chosen council
