Tonight was FFA officer interview night. Very nerve racking and a very long wait. The interviews started at 6pm and they didn't get done until around 8:15pm. I was the last one out of like nine people. The order was kind of like a random thing. But I always say, they save the best for last. And the last one was me!
In FFA you must acheive your chapter ffa degree to apply for office. I recently received my chapter degree a month ago at our last meeting. I decided to apply for reporter. I was the only one that applied for it too!!! But then you had to pick a secondary office just incase the senior officers didn't nominate you for the one you wanted. My secondary was secretary. But I really don't want it. I think I have very good shot at reporter. I have plenty of experience as reporter since I have been my 4-H club's reporter.
The wait was so nerve racking. Not knowing who they were going to call in next was horrible. But I was last. I would've liked to been in the middle, but you'll have that I guess.
The senior officers and two of our chapter's ffa alumni members were doing the interviews. They asked so many freaking questions. But I was going to kill Christian! Urgh! I kept asking me question after question after question and hardly gave the others a chance to ask me anything. Most of the questions he asked me were stupid and had nothing to do with ffa. One of the questions that I was asked was, "If you were a Crayola Crayon, what color would you be and why, and don't just say it's because that is your favorite color." So I said that I would be Hot Pink, because it stands out among the other colors and and reminds me of an outgoing person. Then I was asked if I've ever done the chicken dance, and I replied "yea, who hasn't?" At the end of my interview they asked me to perform the dance, but I had to pee so bad at that point that I told them I had to pee, so they let me go. LOL
Gosh, I was so nervous. I've always hated interviews! But that's me. I think I did farely well though. Actually, really well. I answered my questions with all honesty. So wish me luck!!!! Hopefully I'll get it on Monday when we have elections!!!!!
Oh yeah, and Alex, if you read this, you can tell your brother that I was half tempted to kill him!! LOL
