actually, that would be kinda neat, i think they should implement something like that into galciv 2.

Yeah, the belua is the name of the space shark, although I thought that I changed that...

You attack the belua with your attack ships.  You can also try to get them to chase one of your ships into AI space so that it will attack the AI ships.  Starbases are sometimes helpful in destroying space sharks if you have a high enough defense built on them, but that's expensive if the starbase gets destroyed.
