Where would you be without them?
No laughs or casual conversations,
Or someone to help you through your troubles,
Noone to confide in,
No secrets to share.

You need friends,
Without them what are you?
You are nothing.
Family is good,
But friends can be better in some ways.

There are posers,
They will not stand beside you.
Abandoning you when times are rough.
A friend will see you through,
To the end,
Through the good times,
And the bad.

A true friend is someone to love,
You can cry about your problems,
Talk about your accomplishments,
And complain about anything.
A true friend will listen,
And in return you should listen,
Help them, like they help you.

Friends,
Something to cherish,
Something to hold on to.
Life isn’t the same without them.

That was wonderful and very accurate.

Friends are always there. They offer help, even when you never ask for it... and never forget anything you say or ask. They never turn their backs to you when they found another friend. Friendship is so many things, and you have hit some of the major points in the poem, but there are still yet to be discovered.

And discovering that you trusted someone as a friend more than they trusted you is part of discovering what you need in a friendship. And it hurts when friendships dont work out.

But, it feels like an absolute Heaven when friendships regrow.

The friendship I thought was gone
Regrows
Into something so beatiful
I cry


And that is for the man that calls me mom... No, he is older than me so i am not his actual mom.

Well, i have made friends, lost friends, and found old ones. Life is good the way it is.

Good luck with everyone else and their friendships.... they can be a paradise from which you cannot be driven or a hell in which you cannot escape.

Friendships are meant to be a paradise....for if they are hell...then it is not a friend you have, but a predator, an enemy, a user....

Choose your friends carefully....if you are wrong heartache awaits you...but when you find some that are good, decent people...hang on to them, and you shall be truly happy.
