HEELLLP!!!

Ive just bought the game. Ive registered my game. Now i want to get all the patches and expansions. The problem is that when it try to download something from galciv.com it asks for my email and serial number. After i put type these in and submit them i get a comment back that says

You must have installed Galactic Civilizations from CD before applying the BonusPak. If you are using Stardock Central, we suggest you use that to apply the updates. But, you're welcome to save a copy of this file as well.

What do i have to do to get patches. I went to stardock central and its useless. Its not even Galciv oriented. All it has is a download for the actual game(that i already have) and a download for stardock central which im alreayd using if im on the site(right?). where do i have to go to get patches and stuff.

Stardock central is a program designed to allow you to manage your "relationship" with Stardock easily - this includes access to the forums and downloading updates easily. If you are using Stardock Central, you'd see afunny grey icon at the end of the line - this is not on yours, so I assume you are reading the forums via a standard browser.

where do i find these downloads. The only things i see on stardock are miscelaneous downlaods for software not related to galciv

It is a great program. It will download the patches and the free add on pack. I would recommend you get that also.

You need to download Stardock Central from Stardock.com.

Stardock Central is not a website, it's a program. Once you downloaded and installed, open up SDC while you have a connection to the internet and it will give you access to all patches and other things.

Yes, you must download Stardock, then register your software again, by clicking in the lower right hand corner in the small box and registering your game with Stardock, remember to use your same e-mail and then periodically check for updates and new patches. And if you are lloking for an empire come and join the Jedi Republic.
