AAAAUGH! My eyes!

Once your alignment score passes 70, the borders of the main screen turn to white. The contrast with the black starfield causes a physical strain to the eyes. How do I edit the borders? Chrome borders and white buttons wouldn't be so bad.

There's not really a way to do it without the input files.

You could always swing the other way....the evil interface is easier on the eyes ;) I played my first couple games as evil and then tried as good and was also hit by how bright the screen is. You get used to it though...

I thought the Evil Empire might enjoy that...by the way LM, can you take a look at the Mods forum. I asked a question on the GalCiv Writer thread that you might be able to answer.

Back, on topic- I agree with this- the "Good" interface is annoying. In fact I sometimes postpone being good to avoid it- a little less "white" to it would be nice.

But I said this many months ago too... :D
