The Centurions

The Centurions have arrived!

The Roman Empire was arguably the greatest empire the world has ever known - due in great part to its professional soldiers.

The toughest, most experienced soldiers were the Centurions - grizzled, battle hardened veterans all.

Are YOU tough enough? Are you of the elite?

Have you got what it takes to be a Centurion - either the status of Veteran (or better) or 100+ games? If so, the Centurions could be the empire for you!

You should have a sliding scale. Say 3 points for huge/gigantic 2 for medium/large 1 for tiny/small and require 100 points or something. That way, the work done to get in is about the same no matter the size. Just a thought. Good luck.

I'm tempted to form a Barbarians empire and come sack you. :) Either that or a plebs empire and have a revolt.

Too difficult to work out.

I've been contemplating a score of 100k as another alternative.... The concept of 100 is quite important and it's not meant to be an easy empire to join.

I think there are just nine players with over 100 games, and some won't move - wombie is not likely to change for example. That said, a few might come over and a few are unattached. I don't know how many on the board are veteran or better.

Possibly - although I'm not sure how it'll affect his alliances with the Evil Empire.

You never know :)

I've enjoyed my time with the Jedi - but a lot of things have been happening, and I need a break.

Good Luck with your Empire. Rember the best way to get Caesars ear is with a knife..

The Overlord who became a Jedi...The Jedi who became an Ascended...the Ascended who founded an Empire...

Gotta be a movie script in there somewhere.

If you attract a like-minded group of warriors, interested in personal distinction, order and efficient militarism, I look forward to your inevitable clash with the Special Forces. It should be glorious.

Seriously, Alex, all the best. P.S. - love the animated Roman on your advertising page!

Definitely a tough criteria to meet. Problem is that most people who meet that criteria will probably want to form their own empire anyway.

Good Luck,

Paul.

Alex, how's recruiting going? Anybody interested in joining, yet?

Not that I have to remind you of this, but be patient. It took Aldar a long time to get some people, but now he's got a pretty good empire going!

Why don't you come across, Paul. As a Diplomat you'd qualify - are any other Gammas still playing???

But it's only December? So can we get going on the Roman stuff now?

I come not to praise Caesar, but to.... :SURPRISED:

Give to Cesar what belongs to Cesar and to God what belongs to God... ;)

I seem to remember stealing an imperial toga on one of those time-travel stories months ago... woohoo! That's precedent, that means I can still wear it if I want!
