dumb question about TGs

yeah, if I have completed a TG and I trade it, do I still have a copy of it or does it go away with trade?
I was wondering this because I traded one TG from AI and now I don't see it in my own list of TGs when trading with other AI (although it increases my stats, meaning I have it).

When you trade for a TG, you get the benefit of the trade good for your people, but you don't get to trade it with other AIs (that is why it doesn't show up on the list).

Trade goods are essentially monopolies. If you build it, you own it and can trade/withhold it as you see fit. If one of the AIs build it, they have the same control. If you trade for a good that someone else built, you are receiving the benefit for your people and that is it. There is no middle man for trade goods. :)

yes, this clarifies alot... it's like selling instructions how to build it :)
thats how I can make more money... of course not best TGs but some.
