Uploading some photos as walls

Why can't I upload my photos as walls?

LOL today I have upload 8 photos of my cat "Tom" to the wallpaper section of the site.
Now I noticed that it didn't pass the moderation... why??? (But I didn't get the mail!!!)
The pictures are great by the way and I don't understand why didn't they pass??
I've put a copyright notice and "Copyright eyeJ (Marko Posavec) http://eyej.wincustomize.com" text to each photo. Is that why?? Lol I don't understand because I saw other photo wallpaper collections on the site. Can somebody of the moderators please answer the Q please? I'd love that thx!

Photos are generally not accepted, unless, exceptionnally, they have a truly artistic value. But what is certain is that we do not accept pictures of people's pets or children.

Then what's with the wall suite that i downloaded??? I can't remember how the suite was called!! but it was a collection of Landscapes! ...Landscapes... and plus to that it said that it was ripped from some where and the sender got permition to upload! ok seriously I like the photos but... "truly artistic value" hmmmmmmmm
Maybe someone out there should ask himself what that really is? ... N what about allll those Longhorn walls out there (a 6 year old can put a Longhorn Logo on a Wall... or even better... get it from some other site).
And this: people's pets or children is out of the question.
I look objectively before I upload something!! And I really think that there will be a bunch of people that would like Tom on their desktop. In the end I am not disturbed by this much but... sorry guy’s u won’t get them on your desktop. Sorry nothing I can do. I really was thinking only about you people out there.

The landscapes are not photgraphs. That's about the best compliment xoxroth could have ever gotten.

Make a 3d wallpaper in photoshop of your cat and that would be impressive.

Rejection notifications of wallpapers arent sent out anymore - too many "unhappy campers" throwing hissy fits when receiving said notifications

Also, landscapes are probably different, they may have the windows logo pasted on them or something (also those walls do look good in certain occasions).

Maybe you should hand those walls over to Maged Ahmad at SA for his "Master Cat" WB...I'm sure he would enjoy another cat WATCHING EVERYTHING THAT YOU DO!!!!

Deviantart.com has its fair share of pet happy-snaps.....but as wallpapers pet photos usually ONLY appeal to the pet owner him/herself...so will not be accepted here...

But seriously Tom photos do have a artistic feel... and the ones i picked are yust perfect for wallpapers... i whas werry picky about witch would get uploaded.
But anyway I'l try deviantart!

If I liked cats (which I don't) I might use that as a wall.  It doesn't have a "snapshot" feel like a lot of them do.  Was he laying in a sunny spot?  It has nice directional light.

Even though I am a photographer, I don't usually upload photos here.  We have a subscriber feature that will be available soon that will probably work out well for you.  But, photo walls usually don't get accepted because they end up not being downloaded much.  There aren't a lot of subjects that work well as photo walls, and a lot of photos are good "art" but don't actually make good "wallpaper".

Yea, DeviantArt is a good place for those misc items. Like photos, poetry, skins that don't make it here, etc
