I don't know if this can be done.

What I'd like to do is run GalCiv from a CD, so I can use it on the computers at work(We're slack). The problem is, we do not have any form of system level access, so when the program looks for the registered components, it doesn't find them.... Is there anyway to bypass this to run on a secured system?

hmmm, I'm guessing the problem is the dlls? I don't know of a way to do it without changing our code (which would remove the bink and score submititng), but I suspect that any solution not involving code changes would be hackish.

I don't need the video from work, and as far as score submission, the way the network is locked down, I probably wouldn't be able to find an open port to use anyways, so that wouldn't be a problem. I hesitate to make any code changes though, without the source code.
