Hi, I'm back
from
Stardock Forums
Hi all...been away for awhile.
Well, I've made the big plunge and upgraded to XP...which means that I'm going to have to reinstall GalCiv from the disk and upgrade it from vanilla to the latestest version.
Just wondering if there's anything I'll have to look out for re the XP installation??
BTW, did you think a worm (virus) could survive an upgrade from ME to XP, including a hard drive format and going from FAT32 to NTFS?????? :notsure:
Well they can, because my XP has been infected from the start. Seems Norton wasn't fixing the worm because it didn't affect ME...with the result that after upgrading, I was getting rebooted every few minutes when trying to do the Windows update. Major headaches
I seem to be getting it sorted now though....
Cheers, Stupot
