Problems with Bootskins and Logons

Hi,

I am Pebbles1964, new to Stardock and looking for some help...Stardock support somewhat helpful, looking for supplemental info...

Had no luck with Bootskins...It has been suggested that it is the BIOS interfering...other versions don't work either...Anyone else with similar problems?...Definitely a bummer since there are some great skins out there and I am tired of the MS advertising every time I use my computer.

Next, I got Logon skins to apply (most of the time), but I have a few that have downloaded that are without the "shut off computer" button (or some facsimile thereof). How can I fix this? Or, how can it be edited to get one? I breezed through the Logon creator, but didn't see anything off hand. Will look again, but want feedback first since I am new to this...Any suggestions?

I think I got it. Open LogonStudio, edit the one without the shutdown - in my case it was sunbathing turtle. On the right in the elements, click on bottom panel. If the height is set to 0, change it (65 worked on mine). This has been driving me nuts. So I had given up. Then I noticed more & more people asking about it.

Thanks for the kick in the patootie.

TO BICHUR: YES...It WORKED! THANK YOU! I have to admit, I was getting discouraged, as there are so many great logon skins, and I was having trouble with some of my choices.
