How To...Create Mods, Edit Bonus Events???

Are there instructions/hints/help somewhere for newbies trying to edit bonus events or create mods? I've looked at the Excel view of bonus events, but a lot of it is meaningless (to me, anyway). Looked in the GalCiv Encyclopedia, but didn't see anything obvious there. Any help appreciated.

At first there are the mod forums (see GC Mods) for the hint stuff.
And for an editor you'll have to visite the website of Hawaii-Five-O

Seeker Master: Uh...tried your linkes, but how to get in touch? At the moment, I'd only like to try modifying a couple of the planetary events and, maybe later, do a complete mod. Time, intelligence, job and wife permitting, of course.

Jellis you can e-mail me at [email protected] that is my home, or the other one its the one for work at [email protected] Just let me know what mod are you planning, remember the first thing yo must have it is a good phot or paint program that will allow you to change jpeg into pcx extensions for the pictures. Also you need to download the galcivwriter, it is easy to use and more effective than using a normal text editor.

I can give you the dimensions or sizes of the pictures for each mod (event, anomaly logo party invasion tactics, etc.) Just let me know.

Seeker Master, Spellforce, et al: Oh wow! What a response. Thanks, thanks, thanks! Working on a big job project right now, hope to be finished in a couple of days, or by the weekend for sure. Be back then. These long hours are killing me. But that's another story...
