If we allow good, shouldn't we allow evil? Even evil dictators can be halfway decent diplomats. Perhaps the diplomats should stay away from either extreme, and focus only on the middle ground between pure alignments.

Slothrop when the submission screen comes up at the end of the winning game, change the part where it says "yournamehere" to the e-mail address you registered the game with. that is the reason your metaverse scores are incorrect.

A bit confused here. On the submission screen is a space for both "yournamehere" and also "youremailaddress". I've been filling in my name with the handle I signed up with and leaving the email address blank. I thought it was working because my scores do appear.

Now what should I be doing? Putting my email address in the space for my name? But then what do I do with the space for the email address? Continue to leave it blank?

Will this fix my existing four submissions or are they just broken now?

When I submit both fields are filled in, the first with my player name and the second with my email. They stay prefilled each time I go to submit and I have had no problems. I can't say for sure if that is what messed yours up. You could always email CariElf and ask her.

I had this problem and CariElf fixed it for me, her contact is [email protected].

top part is for your metaverse name. bottom part is for your registered email address. you need both to get your scores working correctly

Because of your former stay at the Evil Empire (The Metaverse's only Evil-only empire) You will be hard-pressed to get to neutral in a matter of a few games. It may take almost 10 or so to offset the evilness that was released onto the galaxy during your stay.

I am wondering: why forbidden posting of cultural victory or research victory for the Diplomats. Since I have read (maybe I have not correctly understand since english is a foreign language for me) in another thread that Death Star as moving cultural palace are allowed.
I know that military wins are always allowed and that some military wins are cultural wins due to cultural flip, but I would have thought that military wins should be the exception for Diplomats.

No. in all seriousness Alliance victory and Military victory are the main two winning methods used. Cultural victory is too easy, and research victory isnt worth the time spent doing it.

By the way... What *is* an Alliance victory? (I don't see this in the manual.)

And also, from another thread, what is an "alpha strike"? (Maybe I shouldn't be asking as a diplomat! )

Alliance victory is when all of the empires are joined together under an alliance (researchable). Hard to get because of allignments of you and AI

An alpha strike is when you position your ships around all of your enemies planets. When you have them all in place, you invade every one of their planets in the same turn. eliminating any chance of retaliation. Dont try this if you already at war with the chosen ai
